Hiking to Woolshed creek hut, Mid Canterbury new Zealand

I have to say Woolshed creek hut is one of my favourites hikes in the Canterbury region. It's part of the Mt Somers walkway and is not a hard track. This has quickly become my go-to hike. Trig M Track: The best beginner hike in Canterbury

There are plenty of tracks in Canterbury to choose from but I have to say if you're looking for a beginner hike in Canterbury or just need something a bit easier, the Trig M track is one of the best. Hiking Mt Alford in the Mid-Canterbury region

A beautiful day hike in Mid Canterbury is the Mt Alford track, only 10 minutes outside of Methven in the Alford Forest Scenic Reserve. This isn't the hardest day hike in Mid Canterbury but does have a variety of terrain and scenery which makes for a great day out. I finally did it. I hiked in Manitoba and I hiked one of the most popular trails, Bald Hill in Riding Mountain National Park. If you've been to the Mid Canterbury region, no doubt you would have set your eyes on the tall and looming Mt Somers. Oh Queenstown. You fun loving, adventure bearing, bunging jumping, jet boating adrenaline town you... I didn't really go there to do any of those things. Except for the fun and adventure part. Hiking Mt Barossa- Canterbury region

The Hakatere Conservation Park has no shortage of hiking whatsoever. The first time I hiked up Mt Barossa, it was just coming to the end of wintertime here in New Zealand.
